I once made coleslaw with a shredder that looked a little like the 2360 Destroyit Deskside Strip-Cut Shredder, but I wouldn’t recommend putting cabbage through this machine. Credit cards, sheets with staples and forgotten paperclips – yes. Fresh produce of any kind – no.
How is it Used?
The 2360 Strip-Cut Destroyit has all the safety features of the Cross-Cut model and the list is impressive. It features an electronically controlled, transparent safety shield in the feed opening. It also has an “Easy Switch” control element that uses color codes and back-lit symbols to indicate operational status. There’s also an automatic reverse and power cut-off to avoid paper jams. However, unlike the cross-cut model, this one can handle double the number of sheets in the feed (12-14). If you’re not satisfied with the 3/16″ strips that this version slices, the cross-cut might be more your style. But, for the record, I don’t like my coleslaw minced. A strip-cut will do nicely.
And How Much Does it Cost
