We are big proponents of UV Coating. It is a cost effective way to finish and protect a document. You can’t beat .04 cents a sheet to uv coat versus lamination. So what are the challenges with uv coating documents printed form Konica Minolta BizHub C6000, Konica Minolta BizHub C7000 or Konica Minolta BizHub C8000 printers? The biggest complaint is flaking. This is the cheaper of the two. Reports from customers who are using it on their Konica Minolta BizHub printers are, they still experience some flaking and waste from their output. Often, it is being picked on price alone. It is a little cheaper for a 5 gallon bucket than others. There is an odor to it as well.

REVO Coatings SureCoat 2010 UV Coating Fluid
This is a low odor, high quality finish. It is a little more than the Tec Lighting finish, but offers a high quality gloss or matte finish. Customers have commented on both its low odor and low flaking. Works great on Tec Lighting and Als Co UV Coating Machines.
